Attended by key players from across the industry, the events added yet more impetus to what has been a dynamic year of global exposure and further cemented UNITED CAPS as industry leaders.

Celebrating this performance, required an equally innovative video showcase. First shown at Drinktec in Munich, UNITED CAPS are delighted to unveil an instagram-style look at a portfolio designed to perform on the shelf, on the line and in the hand.

The acquisition from Closures4you in October 2017 is the next step in UNITED CAPS’ comprehensive growth strategy and extends its market share significantly. 

UNITED CAPS will start to supply customers of its former competitor Closures4you from the German plant UNITED CAPS Schwerin, where the Group will invest in several new production lines to fulfil the ever growing demand on the German market. Read more here

DRINKTEC has been added to the UNITED CAPS global trade show programme for 2017. Themed “Go With The Flow”, the trade show held in Munich between September 11th and 15th is the worlds leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid foods industry.

New closures developed to answer the requirements of the latest industry trends will be also available to experience at the show.

With a long and storied history as a supplier to the food industry, and an exceptional ability to relate to customers and meet their needs with innovative solutions, it stands to reason that UNITED CAPS know a thing or two about food hygiene. That expertise was recently recognised by Wyeth Nutritionals Singapore who awarded UNITED CAPS a Certificate of Excellence for initiatives to prevent foreign objects in products supplied to the infant nutrition business.

The initiatives described as ’remarkable’ by Wyeth Nutritionals include the pallet-free production area thanks to automated conveyor belt systems.

The award represents more exciting news for UNITED CAPS in Asia as the investment in a new purpose built factory in Malaysia continues to progress well.

UNITED CAPS innovations like DOUBLEFLOW - a single closure that offers dual function took a starring role at the 5th Plastic Closure Innovations Congress held in Berlin, Germany between June 6th - June 8th.

The Congress represented another key speaking engagement for the UNITED CAPS team who have been in considerable demand throughout 2017. Much like other audiences across several continents this year, the Berlin attendees, which consisted primarily of leading industry professionals from right through the supply chain were highly engaged by the presentation from UNITED CAPS Chief Marketing and Innovation officer Astrid Hoffmann-Leist and Project Development Manager, Sebastien Hottlet.

Key themes addressed were how the ability to get close to customers and RELATE to their needs informed breakthrough product development.
