Financial Controller

General mission:
Reporting to the Chief Manufacturing Officer, the Financial Controller is responsible for:

  • Analyze the differences between theory/budget and reality
  • Implement a control process and control procedures
  • Support the budgeting procedures, business plans & cases
  • Implement, verify & follow up the cost calculations model

Specific assignments:
The Financial Controller will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Define the cost calculation model in the ERP
  • Act as Pilot for cost calculation model, set up and maintain the related documented system
  • Implement & support the cost model calculation in every plant
  • Support the plant in the budgeting procedure
  • Support the business plans & cases
  • Participate to improvement of our risk management
  • Analyze, identify and follow up cost saving programs
  • Process cost calculations for new project that are not yet linked to a UC plant
  • Support local accounting responsible (stock valuation, cost split, group accounting rules, …)
  • For every company, implement and improve the procedures for managing and optimizing financial information flows: ensuring their reliability.
  • Define, maintain and improve the financial indicators (KPI’s dashboard) and set up of reporting tools and procedures
  • Safety is always considered a priority for her/him and her/his team when travelling, visiting or working in production sites.

Profile:
Higher degree diploma, with experience in industrial environment and team work.

Requirements:

  • Preferably a degree in Engineering, otherwise Business Administration with good technical understanding
  • Good knowledge of accounting standards, budgeting, forecasting, are essential
  • Solid expertise on ERP software
  • English fluent (C.1)
  • Project leading capabilities
  • Full proficiency in using Office suite
  • Accurate, diplomate and autonomous
