UNITED CAPS EXHIBIT WORLD CLASS BEVERAGES CLOSURE PORTFOLIO AT DRINKTEC

The UNITED CAPS beverage portfolio received industry-wide acclaim as it took centre stage at DRINKTEC - The World’s Leading Trade Fair for the Beverage and Liquid Food industry held in Munich between Sept 11th - 15th. Particularly well received was the ‘less is more’ principle that the portfolio adopts. Visitors found a comprehensive collection wide enough to meet industry needs but simple enough to avoid overwhelming with unnecessary choice.

As the highlights package found here illustrates, the UNITED CAPS booth demonstrated in a vibrant, exciting way that, whether it’s on the shelf, on the production line or in the hand, this is a range built for outstanding performance.

GO WITH THE FLOW

DRINKTEC has been added to the UNITED CAPS global trade show programme for 2017. Themed “Go With The Flow”, the trade show held in Munich between September 11th and 15th is the worlds leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid foods industry.

As a global reference player in the packaging industry, UNITED CAPS portfolio of innovative caps and closures are the perfect fit for the high caliber trade show audience in attendance. INSPIRATIONAL NEW CLOSURES FROM UNITED CAPS AT DRINKTEC 2017 IN MUNICH

Beverage manufacturers are increasingly focused on developing Differentiated Total Packaging Solutions that allow their brand to stand out on crowded shelves.

With a healthy 50/50 split between customised and non-bespoke solutions, UNITED CAPS will also showcase the latest in customised solutions like the innovative Wattwiller closure, which features a petal-flower design that is not only eye-catching but allows end users to open bottles with very little effort.

The complete beverage and dairy standard portfolio has recently been enhanced by significant acquisitions and growth. True to the principle that “Less is More” - UNITED CAPS outstanding design capability has reduced the need for product line complexity. It encompasses solutions for the entire industry, everything from PET to glass bottles across an impressive range of neck sizes. The optimised product lines on display constitute a comprehensive collection wide enough to meet industry needs but simple enough to avoid overwhelming with unnecessary choice.

New closures developed to answer the requirements of the latest industry trends will be also available to experience at the show.

Enhancing this portfolio are differentiated finishing processes such as the cutting edge UNITED CAPS Bi-Injection process which yield exciting design possibilities and inspiration for brand owners.

AUG 2017 - UNITED CAPS awarded by WYETH Nutritionals Singapore

With a long and storied history as a supplier to the food industry, and an exceptional ability to relate to customers and meet their needs with innovative solutions, it stands to reason that UNITED CAPS know a thing or two about food hygiene. That expertise was recently recognised by Wyeth Nutritionals Singapore who awarded UNITED CAPS a Certificate of Excellence for initiatives to prevent foreign objects in products supplied to the infant nutrition business.

The initiatives described as ’remarkable’ by Wyeth Nutritionals include the pallet-free production area thanks to automated conveyor belt systems.

The award represents more exciting news for UNITED CAPS in Asia as the investment in a new purpose built factory in Malaysia continues to progress well.

UNITED CAPS SHOWCASE CLOSURE INNOVATIONS

UNITED CAPS innovations like DOUBLEFLOW - a single closure that offers dual function took a starring role at the 5th Plastic Closure Innovations Congress held in Berlin, Germany between June 6th - June 8th.

The Congress represented another key speaking engagement for the UNITED CAPS team who have been in considerable demand throughout 2017. Much like other audiences across several continents this year, the Berlin attendees, which consisted primarily of leading industry professionals from right through the supply chain were highly engaged by the presentation from UNITED CAPS Chief Marketing and Innovation officer Astrid Hoffmann-Leist and Project Development Manager, Sebastien Hottlet.

Key themes addressed were how the ability to get close to customers and RELATE to their needs informed breakthrough product development.

UNITED CAPS will join leading industry professionals from right across the supply chain at the 5th Plastic Closure Innovations Congress held on 6-8 June 2017 at the Sofitel Kurfürstendamm in Berlin, Germany.

Continuing a global program of speaking engagements, a UNITED CAPS delegation will present the company’s latest innovative creations and showcase how the unique platform of RELATE, PERFORM and SUSTAIN fuels the UNITED CAPS innovation machine, enabling the creation of Differentiated Total Packaging Solutions.

MAY 2017 - UNITED CAPS Continues to Scale Up. Acquires Dewit Plastics’ Caps, Closures and Handles Business.

The acquisition from Dewit Plastics of its caps, closures and handles business in May 2017 not only extends the range of offerings from UNITED CAPS but also represents a clear growth milestone and statement of intent from the Board of Directors.

The inclusion of screw, tamper-evidence (TE) and child-resistant (CRC) closures as well as handles for large containers extends the range of offerings and provide further opportunities to strengthen already close relationships with customers.

UNITED CAPS DIFFERENTIATE AT INTERPACK

Described by CEO Benoit Henckes as "fresh and differentiating" UNITED CAPS unveiled a brand new "high impact" booth at INTERPACK which showcased how the brand, product portfolio and latest innovations come together to enable Differentiated Total Packaging Solutions.

Featuring exciting new graphics, powerful messaging and innovative new product displays, the 150sqm booth proved popular with customers, media and staff alike. 

Chief Marketing Officer Astrid Hoffmann-Leist explained "Our booth at INTERPACK succeeded in telling the story of how our ability to RELATE, PERFORM and SUSTAIN enables the creation of Differentiated Total Packaging Solutions. We were able to provide a forum for customers to get excited about the possibilities of working with UNITED CAPS as well as our recent innovations like In-Mould Labelling and Bi-Injection.

Customer excitement was matched by media interest with a strong demand for 1to1 interviews with Benoit Henckes. A clever booth journey enabled customers to not only see products but also experience them in the 'play zone' and even take a look at the future with an immersive virtual reality app. To cap it all, a small cinema theatre showcased a new movie telling the story of UNITED CAPS brand!
