Following the successful conclusion of ProPak Asia 2023 in Bangkok, UNITED CAPS is delighted to announce its active participation in the highly anticipated Dairy Congress 2023 scheduled to take place on 26 and 27 September in Singapore.

The 7th Global Dairy Congress Asia 2023 will feature two days of conference sessions focusing on the latest industry trends, challenges and opportunities, covering more than 10 countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and India.

With more than 30 powerful speakers to cover the hot topics such as Global Dairy Sector, Future of Asia Dairy Packaging and How AI Could Change Dairy. ProPak Asia reached a major milestone this year, celebrating its 30th anniversary in Thailand. The four-day event attracted over 51,000 visitors and brought together of more than 1,800 brands from 45 countries to showcase the latest offering.

UNITED CAPS, has launched the 23-H-PAK, a groundbreaking new cap for carton packaging. The company's latest innovation is a carton closure tethered to outstanding value and performance instead of expensive line changes.

The announcement comes after an intriguing social media teaser campaign where UNITED CAPS tantalised its followers with sneak peeks and cryptic hints about a new innovation.

Now, the mystery has been revealed. The new cap, which is designed specifically for use with carton beverage packaging, offers a tethered solution packed with innovative patent pending features and benefits

According to the company, the new cap is fully compatible with existing production lines facilitating fast and inexpensive integration. It also offers clever tamper-evidence, which is crucial for ensuring the safety and integrity of products.

We are delighted to announce that UNITED CAPS has been recognised with the prestigious Golden Bridge Award for the establishment of our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Dinnington, Sheffield, UK.

The Golden Bridge Award is presented annually by the Belgian and Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in the United Kingdom, to the most successful Belgian and Luxembourg companies trading or investing in the UK.

Collecting the award on behalf of UNITED CAPS at an event held at the Belgian Residence in London on Thursday 24th November 2022 were CEO Benoit Henckes, Chief Project Officer, Rony Van Regenmortel and Plant Director UK & Ireland, Paul Gorry.

Mr Henckes remarked that the success of the new Dinnington facility was a powerful endorsement of the UNITED CAPS “Close To You” strategy adding that “The combination of food and non-food caps and closures, as well as our ability to produce bespoke closures, which represents about 50% of our business, has placed us in an optimum position to continue growing and expanding in the UK and Ireland.”

UNITED CAPS continued its industry-leading sustainability position with the release of an updated, downloadable report, where interested parties can find information about UC’s sustainability activities. The report details ongoing progress toward a net-zero carbon footprint and a circular economy for plastics, while continuing to deliver caps that enhance the end-user experience for its customers’ brands. The ultimate aim being caps made from 100% renewable feedstocks or recycled plastic, using 100% green energy and made by a happy, secure workforce operating in a carbon neutral environment

One of the star attractions at the Drinktec Beverage show in Munich beginning on September 12th 2022 was the unveiling by UNITED CAPS of the MIMICA CAP, the exciting result of a collaboration between UNITED CAPS and MIMICA that rethinks what a cap can do and promises to help tackle food waste, at the same time as, fostering brand growth.
