Sustainability Week this year takes place on 4, 5 and 6 November at 2 PM CET, and features three live webinars that explore how sustainability is embedded across UNITED CAPS and how the company is helping customers prepare for the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) coming into force in August 2026.
“EU packaging regulation is entering a new era,” said Benoît Henckes, CEO of UNITED CAPS. “These stricter rules emphasise design for recyclability, support responsible material selection, and aim to minimise unnecessary packaging while strengthening Extended Producer Responsibility. It’s a decisive moment for our industry.
At UNITED CAPS, sustainability has long been part of our DNA. We’re working hand in hand with customers to encourage lifecycle thinking, support compliance readiness, and provide reliable access to recycled polymers. Sustainability Week forms part of our broader effort to help every customer navigate the new regulations with clarity and confidence.”
