“Ambitious investments by UNITED CAPS continue to bear fruit” was a message stressed by CEO Benoit Henckes at the successful inauguration of new R&D facilities at our Messia facility.
In two separate speeches before both the assembled media and teams from UNITED CAPS, Benoit pointed to a rich pipeline of recent and forthcoming innovations as evidence that the vision set out by him at the renaming from PROCAP to UNITED CAPS was delivering a significant platform for growth.
Some of the events highlighted included the #goldenmoment development with Nestle for the Nescafe Gold brand and included a tour of the production and R&D facilities that helped enable a total packaging solution for the world-famous brand.
Emphasizing how the development pillars of RELATE, PERFORM and SUSTAIN are driving product creation, the tour and speech showcasing recent breakthrough innovation like GREENER closures that don’t just look good but do good too and SMARTER anti-counterfeiting closures that make it easier to quickly identify a genuine product.
Rounding off the day was a reminder of how recent key acquisitions like Embalatap and Closures4U were driving growth along with the fact that we’ve broken ground on the development of our production facility in Malaysia. Rounding things off in style was the announcement of even more investment - this time in a new £20m production facility in Sheffield, England.
